Prof. Karuti Kanyinga

Prof. Karuti Kanyinga (@karutikk) is a Research Professor of Development Studies and is based at the Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi. He is the current Director of Research at the Institute. He has a PhD in Social Science from Roskilde University, Denmark. He is an accomplished development researcher and scholar with extensive national and international experience. He has published extensively and is renowned for his contributions to scholarship on governance and development in Kenya and Africa in general. He has written extensively on politics of development; ethnicity and inequality; and governance and development.
