The African Leadership Centre, King’s College London is pleased to invite you to the third lecture of its African Leaders Global Engagement Series with Dr Comfort Ero. Dr Ero is the President and CEO of International Crisis Group (ICG). She is a leading practitioner in the field of conflict and security, having spent her entire career working on and in conflicted affected countries. Prior to becoming the President, she served as the Africa Program Director at ICG and before that also served as Deputy Africa Program Director for the International Centre for Transitional Justice. She has held the role of Policy Advisor to the Special Representative of the Secretary- General, UN Mission in Liberia. Dr Ero is also a mentor of the ALC

About the African Leaders Global Engagement Series

The African Leaders Global Engagement Series is hosted by the African Leadership Centre (ALC), King’s College London. Established in 2018, the series invites prominent African leaders and Leading Voices to King’s College London to interrogate the leadership dimension of the development-security nexus in Africa and other parts of the developing world. African leaders participating in the series include current and former Heads of State as well as Leading Voices in international arena across the continent. On this exclusive platform, African leaders reflect on their personal experiences and share solutions to contemporary development and security challenges facing the continent with leadership scholars at the ALC, King’s and beyond.

  VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER  The African Leadership Centre (ALC) seeks to recruit competent and dedicated applicants to fill up the Position of Finance and Administration Manager.        Working under the supervision of the ALC Executive Director and with guidance from the trustees and relevant advisors the Finance Administration Manager will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative services to the ALC. He / She will manage ALC’s financial accounting and administration system and ensuring effective financial controls, administrative and accounting procedures and practices are followed. They will be responsible for implementing both the finance policy and resource and administration policy of the ALC. Additionally and in close collaboration with ALC colleagues for Research, Monitoring Evaluation (M E) and Knowledge Management Technology, the Finance Administration Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all financial aspects of all their processes are supported within the ALC network as well as with key external stakeholders.  Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Finance and Administration Manager role will be subdivided into the following elements: As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT): Participate in SMT meetings.
