The ALC is pleased to announce that our Alumna, Ms. Nox Ntuli, was recently appointed to a new and exciting position at the World Bank Group’s - International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Ms. Ntuli initially took up the position as a Specialist Ombudsman in-charge of Dispute resolution in October 2016.
Ms. Ntuli will for the next three years be based in the Compliance Advisory Ombudsman Unit, in Washington DC, United States.
She will be responsible for ensuring that the IFC complies with its own performance standards regarding social and environmental issues.
In the dispute resolution arm of the unit, Nox Ntuli’s specific role will be to assess and determine whether there is scope through mediation and dialogue in order to help the parties resolve the issues and thereafter provide a mediation process for the parties.
More importantly, this position enables Ms. Ntuli achieve her long held aspiration of becoming an international mediator.
