Myriam Wedraogo is a journalist with the Senegal-based West Africa Democracy Radio where she hosts a gender magazine programme. Myriam has a MA in Applied Foreign Languages from Cheikh Anta Diop University (Senegal). She also followed a number of short courses on gender and development issues. She is part of the young generation of media professionals working and dreaming to see engendered media content that correctly addresses conflict, security and development issues, and takes its responsibility in building peace rather than fuelling conflicts.
