Media Sensitisation Workshop 2015

The African Leadership Centre (ALC), with the support of the Africa Peacebuilding Network of the Social Science Research Council of New York, is holding its second media sensitisation workshop on 5th and 6th November, 2015 at the ALC campus in Nairobi. The workshop will convene media practitioners drawn from the five East African Community (EAC) member states on the theme 'Reporting Regional Security from a Gendered Perspective'.

This is part of a series of engagements, intended to invest in a culture of journalism in East Africa that goes beyond the reporting of isolated and disconnected events to an analytical driven approach that pays particular attention to issues of regionalism, society and security.
