Head of Finance & Administration
Nancy is an experienced professional with 13 years experience in Financial Management, Grant Management, Budget development and monitoring, budgetary compliance, checks and remedies. Having worked with various International Development Organizations, with 11 years’ experience in Financial & Grant management and 2 years in external audit as well as specializing in streamlining of Internal Controls of donor funded organizations; she is currently charged with management of the Finance and Administration Department.
Between the years 2006 to 2011, she closely interacted with persons with disabilities (PWD’s) and has greater appreciation of critical issues and key messages in disability such as social inclusion and awareness, Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), systematic monitoring of the rights of persons with disabilities, creating an enabling environment for PWD’s among others.
Nancy is a graduate of St Paul’s University. She studied Business Administration and Management with special emphasis to small businesses and entrepreneurship, she majored in Accountancy. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration and Management (Financial Management) from St. Paul’s University.
Her recent research interest is in Development Finance and Development Economics and their role in the development of the African Economies.
Other areas of interest include: Fundraising and sustainability strategies of donor funded organizations, Inclusion of the Disability component in all spheres of life/Disability mainstreaming, Design Thinking & Innovation and Business Strategy (Donor funded institutions).
